A re-roll

It's hard being an Orc in human clothes....

I've re-rolled and taken a break from my main. Found a very nice guild over on Bleeding Hollow, and I'm seeing how the other half lives. So far so good. But I can't wait till I can hit 30 and get a mount again. Walking in general stinks in WoW, but the humans just look silly when they run.

So I learned a lesson...

I was tanking an encounter with the brewfest boss that didn't go really well. I said something in vent about the encounter, and it appears to have gotten out.

I shouldn't have said it. I'm sorry I did say it. Wipes happen, and I'm usually one of the more laid back people about it. It's a game, no worries. I feel really bad about it, and I'm seriously thinking a step back is in order for a bit.

Buy or Sell

So I noticed last night (And took advantage of) that the pricess on some things has started falling on the Auction House. People are selling off stuff that won't be "top of the line" when the expansion hits. So I bought a few that I needed.

And now I'm thinking, should I buck the trend and stock up? I'm leveling an alt or two, and there's some stuff that would greatly benefit some of them that can only be crafted. (Noteably the Tankatronic goggles for the Tauren Tank).

Decisions, Decisions....

Looks like there's a release date now....

November 13th, Wrath of the Lich King comes out.

Yeah, I'll probably buy it. And on release day when everyone is taking vacation days and racing to play and all that? I'll probably go to the bar, watch TV, play Madden Football, anything except log into WoW and have to wait to queue up. I'll wait a bit, thanks.

I hate crowds.

A problem with dailies...

I have a problem with the daily quests.

It always starts out as "I'll just do the fishing and cooking real quick...." and then moves to "Oh, and then mining, that's easy". From there it usually turns into "Well I have to go to Nagrand anyways, so I'll grab the readings quest" or "I have to fish in Hellfire? Well, while I'm there I'll try to grab the towers for the PVP daily and hey there's those other two over there in the throne area to do while I'm here" and a couple of hours later I find I'm on the isle finishing off more SSO quests.

At which point I have a lot more gold, but have run out of time for the night. I need to stop doing that.

What to do, what to do?

My guild is "renovating". It's a small guild. Used to be bigger, a lot of people left and it got really small (Like 2 or 3 active people small). Now some people have returned. We can probably field a few 5 mans and heroics if we wanted. We could finally go see some of the PVE stuff. (It *is* a PVP server though)

So... what do do. Do we try to recruit a few more? Coast along until the expansion?

What am I doing..

Heck, I'm not really sure. Just trying to get the hang of this, I guess. If you're reading this, how the heck did you find it?

I haven't told anyone yet, I'm just trying to figure out how I want this to go. Sort of I practice run. I'll probably nuke all of these entries in the end so I can start fresh. But I know one thing for certain. That Old man Barlo? I hate him. And he hates me. Oh, I like the fishing daily, and seem to have pretty good luck. Need a Monstrous Felblood Snapper? I seem to need about 5 casts on average, and I have it. The shrimp in Zangramarsh? Easy! He keeps asking for stuff and I go out and get it no problem. So let me ask you this, Old man..... WHERE IS MY FISHING HAT?????

I hate him. Seriously.

What, one post and I quit?

No, no. One post and then it was happy fun time to go on vacation and sit by the pool, drinking and not being online. Good work if you can get it.

Now I'm back home, back to work, and back to trying to figure out what I want this to be.

Oh Great... Another WoW blog....

Yep, another. Why? Why not.

We're just getting started here, so please bear with. In fact, if you're here, why are you here? I haven't even told anyone about this place yet. I have no cool header graphics (suck at Photoshoppy stuff), no screen shots, and no stories written down yet. You ended up here by accident, didn't you?

I hope to make this into a fun, goofy look at my misadventures in the World of Warcraft with a few odds and ends mixed in.
